Its formula provides water and electrolytes, including sodium and potassium, which help compensate for losses resulting from diarrhea and vomiting. The composition was developed in accordance with the guidelines of the European Society for Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN). With a mild strawberry flavor, it comes in a ready-to-drink liquid format, requiring no dilution.
